Studied guitar at the Chingford School of Music with Daryl Kirk (Legend) then moved onto lesson with David Mead (ex-Editor of Guitarist Magazine) and finally 2 years+ studying with Phil Hilbourne (needs no introduction).

Influences
Heavily influenced by my ultimate guitarist guru Carlos Santana (the tone of God) also citing Eric Clapton, Joe Satriani and Yngwie J. Malmsteen as my guidance (plus of course my brother John King - a living legend himself)

Played my first open air rock concert at the tender age of 13yrs and still loving it today.

Formed the band 'Roxoff' with my brother - they're still rocking 25yrs on! Also a former member of 'Arena', a band which included past members of Whitesnake, Iron Maiden, Gengas Chan/UFO (these guys pushed me hard)

During the late 80s I was a demonstrator for Glodden Pro Audio - I exhibited around the country goods for guitar techs including: Palmer, OBL, Scaler Strings and Gladden Guitars. Mid-90s took a break from gigging. Today I'm back rocking and loving it on the road with STEAL!

2 x hand built Gladdens (one purchased from Nick Kershaw - double cut Les Paul - Sweet!)

1 x PRS Custom 22 "Artist Pack" in Santana yellow
1 x PRS SE Custom 22 with Martin Booth modification

Amp: 100 watt H&K Switchblade head, 4x12 Mesa Boogie rectifier custom cab.
